Thanks to Nia's idea, which I'm too lazy to link to, we are now allowing users to RP as a teacher, as well as students. There are a few differences between roleplaying teachers and students.
Please note: This is a new feature on our wiki, and suggestions for improvement, feedback and constructive criticism is appreciated. Not everything in this blog is going to remain policy.
- Users must have been here for at least two weeks or be a Level Two user or above to roleplay as a teacher.
- Users are only permitted to have one teacher OC, as we're trying to maintain a realistic staffing level for the school.
- Teachers who swear a lot, act innapropriately (e.g. showing up drunk, hitting on students, calling people some offensive insults) will be "fired", just like a teacher in real life would, which is similar to a student being "expelled".
- Teachers should have different teaching specialties (e.g. maths, English, chemistry, drama, music, makeup, costume, scriptwriting etc.). There will be a page created for the HA Staff, and the teachers will be listed under their faculty.
- Students will be able to list on their page a list of electives (number to be determined) which will link them up with their teacher.
- Instead of teachers having a "Year of Birth" category on their page like students do, they will have a "Teachers" category, as teacher's age groups are highly varied, unlike students.
- I'm pretty sure Cxc wants to make a teacher's lounge location, where only teachers are allowed to RP. (Sorry if it wasn't Cxc's idea and I just gave credit to the wrong person).
Any other ideas, suggestions for improvement and whatnot should be suggested in the comments and just remember that this is a new feature and will require a bit of experimentation while we work out the flaws.
Oh, and thanks Nia for the suggestion.
