My date with Alex went better than expected. Well, if better than expected meant kissing in the rain. How did we end up that way? Let me tell you a story. Don't worry, it's not that long. Just about, 3 hours.

So, I went to Alex's house [Isn't the tradition the guy going to the girl's house? I never knew. Thanks a lot, Alex Millington.] riding my Harley. We went to the bowling alley and, you know, played bowling. We went out for ice cream after that. The ice cream parlor was only a block away, so we just walked. On the way there, we were talking about, um, stuff you're not supposed to care about. Anyway. After that, I started to look like an idiot. I was like, "Why are we stopping?" and Alex was like, "Um, the ice cream shoppe is here, silly." And then I was like, "Oh. So what flavors are going to---" I was interrupted when he kissed me. And then, BOOM. Right then and there, it started to rain. Great, I thought, just great.

So there we were, kissing in the rain, like what happens in the old movies. Too bad there's no background music. Just then it would be a perfect day.
